Location Recce

TV Studio

We plan to film in the TV Studio at BOA. We want to have a room with a black setting to show a nightclub setting. We would like the lighting to be presented as dark and edgy so that we can brighten the room up with our bold, bright Maybelline makeup. The initial idea is to show off the makeup and the models persona with the makeup, we need a location that is plain and will not interfere or clash with the makeup.

Lighting

We will need the house lights off. We are unsure on how to set the lighting, so we will need some guidance with that, however we plan to use red heads with different coloured gels to bring more colour to the scene.

Props

We will need some colourful balloons in the studio to show the fun side of things. We want to show off the teenager’s fun makeup therefore we want the plain background to fit in with the balloons. It would be good to have some party poppers and other party related decorations to show that the advert is aimed at teenage girls. I think the idea of constantly relating it to our target audience will captivate the audience.
