Thank you for your enquiry to book artists of The Cocoa Butter Club. Please be advised on the following points:

The performer must be provided a clean, private changing space, which is away from guests and of appropriate size. The space must be of a comfortable temperature and have adequate lighting. Where possible, the space should include a mirror (full length). The room must contain a working plug socket.

The performer should be provided bottled water.

The changing space should be easily accessible to and from the performance space. More specifically, cleared of guests.

It is your responsibility to provide an adequate sound system for the performances.

It is your responsibility to provide a responsible assistant for the performer; who will set up and clear the performance space and play any music required.

The performance space must be clean and clear of debris/cables/slip/trip hazards or food/paraffin/fake blood etc.

If these conditions relating to the safety of the performer(s) are not adhered to, then the performer may refuse to perform but will still require payment.

The performer must be provided a safe and secure place to store their costumes and props.

If the hirer (you) and or their agents damage the property of the performer, the hirer is responsible. E.g. If the assistant breaks a prop, the hirer is responsible and will be charged for repairs.

The safety of the performer is the responsibility of the hirer. The hirer must ensure the audience’s behaviour is appropriate and the performer feels safe and secure at all times.

CANCELLATION: If the event is cancelled within a month of the event date, the hirer must honour 50% of the agreed fee by forfeiting the 50% deposit paid to confirm the booking.

N.B. A fine of 10% of the agreed fee will be added to the booking fee for every 30minutes the booking runs over time.
