Standard 10. Leadership and Collaboration: Meeting notes from grade level team meeting.

These are a snippet of the notes taken during a grade level team meeting in which our grade level team focused on collaboration. An important part of self-improvement as a teacher, is to actively engage in and contribute to team meetings to improve instructional practices that meet learners’ needs. During this meeting, we discussed what information we would use to determine quarter one grades in ELA. We also discussed the frequency we would give the weekly reading tests to ensure there are sufficient commonalities across the grade level while leaving room for each teacher to apply their individual teaching styles that they feel best support their students.
