Dear 1B parents,

This week you can see through our photos what we have learned. New letter Lamed and all about our Guf (body). We talked about what we use our Peh (mouth) for. We ended our week by saying what we were thankful for learning in first grade Hebrew/Judaic studies so far. They gave pretty amazing answers. Please look at the photo of their answers below.

This week’s parsha is Vayigash. We have re-united Yoseph with his eleven brothers and father. Parsha questions are in their backpacks. During break I told the children they can go to www.torahtots.com to read about the parashot during break.

Thank you to the Hochshuler family for bringing in Talenti Glidah for the entire first grade!!!! We had a Glidah (ice cream) party in honor of learning the letter lamed and the word glidah.

I am monitoring the Tal Am online program once a week. Please make sure your child is finishing each letter completely. They can do up until Lamed.

Have an amazing break!!! Relax, have fun and enjoy your time with your children. I know I will!! Looking forward to coming back in 2016 and learning with your children.

Do not forget Chag Hasiddur is Thursday February 11, 2016 at 9am. Girls will be wearing white Shabbat shirt with a blue skirt. Boys will be wearing blue pants and white Shabbat shirts.
