Youth Happenings – Youth will join in the Prayers and People service this WOW season.

Weather permitting, confirmation will meet today 3-4. 

On the 29nd the Good News Sunday school class will be hosting a dinner for the youth at the Babelay's home. (5820 Babelay Road Knoxville TN 37924) Please RSVP by the 27th if you wish to attend.

Feb 7th is Souper Bowl Sunday.  Please be here at 9:00a.m. in jeans and a youth tee shirt.  

WOW – WOW – January 27 – Dinner 5:30 p.m. Menu: Apricot chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, rolls . Please note: potato bar in place of entrée only! Or for late reservations made after Monday noon. Thank you to the Young Adult Class for clean-up. Classes at 6:30 p.m.: Chasing God led by Linda Sullivan in the Fireside Room; The Prayers and People service is an intergenerational service that seeks authentic relationships and involvement from members of all ages.   Join us as we discover new ways to grow in our relationship with God as a church family in the Chapel. Reservation forms are in the pewholders to sign-up for dinner. Place in the offering plate. PLEASE have your reservations and cancellations in by Monday noon! Cost: $5.00; 4 years and under free; family cap $20.00.

Souper Bowl Sunday - Sunday, February 7 FCPC Youth will serve a meal in the fellowship hall following the 10:30 a.m. service. Donations will enable the youth to continue their youth mission activities.

The Fireside Class would like to invite a guest teacher to facilitate a lesson for our class. We welcome a one-day lesson or a lesson that takes place over a few weeks. Please contact Denna Grogan if you are interested, grogand1@att.net. Thank you.

We are in need of ushers – we need one for the 3rd Sunday of the month and we need one for the 4th Sunday of the month. Would anyone like to volunteer for this easy, much needed job in our worship service? Email or call the church office if interested.

Family Promise will be here today through January 31.

Max, our pastor, is often on the move, serving away from the office or working irregular hours. Should you desire to speak with him without an appointment, he is available in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 AM until 12:00 noon.

Lyn, our Director of Christian Education and Missions, is often teaching a class or studying in another part of the building. Should you desire to speak with her without an appointment, she is available on Mondays 1-3 p.m., Tuesdays 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and Wednesdays 2-3 p.m
