Each unit is required to have at least two adult leaders at camp during the entire weekend. One of these adults must be at least 21 years old and BALOO trained. Leaders may rotate as needed, as long as the two-deep leadership requirement is maintained. Adult to Scout ratio is 1:5. All Adult leaders must be Youth Protection trained, and are expected to follow all youth protection guidelines.

Parents are not required to stay with their Webelos for the Scout to attend Webelos Cast Off.

Parents of scouts attending Bear Trail are expected to attend with their scout.

Packs will be assigned program patrol duties throughout the weekend. These duties will be communicated at check in.

It is expected that all packs do their share in helping to close camp down. Each pack will be assigned a different clean up duty. These duties will be communicated at check in.

Each pack will need 2 leaders to serve as walking den leaders. They will be responsible for getting their scouts to their activities on time.

Other Useful Information Class A shirts must be worn for the opening flag ceremony each day and to breakfast. Class B t-shirts may be worn the rest of the time. Uniforms should be tucked in.

All vehicles must be kept in a designated parking lot. This helps maintain the safety of our youth.

All scouts, parents, leaders, and visitors must be able to walk for 3 miles.

Adventure Loops/Pins are not included with the camp fee, and will not be given out. It is the Pack’s responsibility to purchase and award the Adventures. A list will be provided at check in.

It will be helpful to work with your scouts on the following memory items prior to camp: Scout Oath, Scout Law, Outdoor Code, & Leave No Trace Principles for Kids.

The camp has an on-site health officer, trained in basic first aid. The health officer handles minor medical problems. If any scouts will be taking medication while at camp, a signed medication administration form will be required.

Please bring a dutch oven if you have one. We will be having a Dutch Oven Cook-off on Saturday.
