“ Webster Geneva offers you a unique opportunity to receive an American university education while immersed in an international academic environment of the first order. Our overarching goal is to provide high quality learning experiences that transform students for global citizenship and individual excellence. ” Ron Daniel, Academic Director

Webster University Geneva

After high school an American student completes a four-year undergraduate program to earn a bachelor’s degree. This means successfully completing about 43 courses. About half of these courses are in the “major” area of study and the rest can be used to earn either a double major, a minor, or a certificate. The student must also select courses, with the guidance of an academic advisor, that fulfill the Global Citizenship Program requirements. Students need to fulfill the requirements of at least one major to graduate.

Students may receive advanced placement in recognition of the academic length and rigor of programs offered at international or European secondary schools. For example, the International Baccalaureate, French Baccalaureate, Swiss Maturité and UK A-levels provide up to one year of advanced placement, reducing our four-year bachelor’s program to approximately three years.
