Old Thorns offers a choice of charming and opulent rooms for your special occasion and is a

very popular civil ceremony venue.

A total of 11 rooms have been granted a licence, making our venue ideal for whichever wedding

ceremony option you desire.

THE GATSBY BALLROOM

Inspired by the art-deco theme of the 1925 F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, The Great Gatsby, the light and decadent first-floor Gatsby Ballroom is a popular choice for weddings breakfasts and evening receptions, and even has its own private terrace with fantastic views over the grounds.

Bringing the roaring 1920’s feel alive in a totally contemporary way, if you want your wedding to have that ‘wow factor’ this is the room for you.

The delightful Hampshire Suite offers panoramic views of the golf course and can be the backdrop to the wedding of your dreams.

And for the big reveal – the dressing room features a spacious, curtained dressing area…and plenty of

tissues, just in case there are a few tears!
