Brief Introduction

Replay is an amazing video editing app which provides

the users with an easy and fast way to create fantastic

videos with photos and video clips on their mobile

phones.

Users can add the text, title and music onto the videos,

and change the video styles, effects, fonts, filters and

transitions within only several minutes.

Besides, users can also see the videos produces by

others with Replay to get inspiration.

How To Use It?

01-Select elements

Tap on the “plus” icon on the homepage,

then you can select photos and video

clips as your elements from Photos,

Albums, Facebook and Instagram. You

can select up to 200 elements.

Tips:

Long press on an element, then you can

preview it.

02- Choose a video style

The first icon on the right is for choosing the video style.

25 different styles are provided for the users, and all the

styles has a different feel and different effects and

transitions.

Besides, every style has at least 4 different variations. By

tapping on the selected video style, you can change the

variations, including the fonts and filters.

However, only 3 styles are free for every week, but all the

styles will be rotated, which allows the uses to discover

them all.

03- Edit the elements ( For both photos & Video clips)

The second icon on the right is for editing your photos

and video clips. By tapping on the icon, you will enter the

timeline of the elements.

Long press on the elements and drag them, then you can

reorder the elements.

Then tapping on any element ,you will see the “plus” sign

and the tool bar.

03- Edit the elements ( For both photos & Video clips)

For adding other photos or video clips, tap on the

“plus” sign and the “image” icon.

For adding the title and text onto the videos, tap

on the “plus” sign and the “Aa” icon. You can

even add emojis onto the videos.

The tool bar has three main functions.

For choosing a focus point for the photos, you

can tap on the first icon.

The second icon is to add text onto the photos

and the video clips.

The third icon is for duplicating a same element.

How To Use It?

03-Edit the elements (Only for Video clips)

Some tools are only for editing the video clips.

Tap on the “scissors” icon, then you can trim the

video clips.

Besides, if you want to recenter the video clips,

the “scissors” can also help you. Tap on it ,you can

move the video up and down or left and right.

The second icon is for turning on and off the

sound of the video clips.

04-Choose the background music

The third icon allows you to change the background

music.

You can select the music from the Replay music library

and your itunes.

You can choose the starting point of the music, delete

and change the music .

The length of the video depends on the length of the

music, so the video might be suddenly cut off at the end

of the music.

How To Use It?05-Change the Format and the Pace

Replay provides the users with the possibility to

change the format and the pace of the videos by

tapping on the fourth icon on the tool bar.

For the format, you can choose Cinema 16/9

format and Square 1/1 format, and the later one

fits the Instagram.

For changing the pace, you can choose either

Slower, Natural and Faster. You can also turn on

the button to limit the video within 15sec to fit the

Instagram.

06-Save & Sharing

After previewing your videos, you can share

your masterpieces onto the social network by

uploading your videos to the server and posting

a link with the video to the social media apps,

such as Wechat Moments and Sina Weibo, you

have installed on your mobile phone.

Besides, you can save the videos to your

Camera Roll.

My Thoughts

ADVANTAGES

It has 25 styles and every style has at least 4 variations. Users can use the various styles with

different effects. All the styles are of high quality, which provides the users with fantastic video

editing experiences

It is super easy and fast. The users can make a masterpiece within just several minutes,

which is accordance with the requirements of most users.

Replay provides the users with many editing tools, from trimming to recentering the video

clips, from adding text to changing the pace the pace of the video. The tools offered by

Replay make the videos more professional.

PART THREE

My Thoughts

DISADVANTAGE

Not so creative because the styles has been already designed by the

developers and users can only choose one style once from the library for

creating a video.

Only three styles are free every week. Even though the developer will rotate the

styles every week, the users need to wait for a certain style, but they will not

know when will the style comes free. Or, they have to pay for the style. The

whole package costs 78 HKD.

It will be better if more functions are developed. For example, allowing the users

to use multiple songs or make the music loop in one video will be a good choice.

Besides, ”resize” tool can also be taken into consideration for resizing the

photos and video clips.
