•This teacher led activity aims to remind children of the ‘un-’ prefix which they met in week 8, when it was introduced as reversing the meaning of the word. • This time the ‘un-’ has been paired with ‘re-’ meaning to do again. •The child’s task is to choose the correct prefix to make the word match the meaning they want for the slide. So ‘re’, to do something again, or ‘un’ to mean the opposite of the stem word. •The next slide is an answer sheet for each child to go along with the IT presentation, and should be printed and given to the children before the start. •There are 2 examples for the children to do and discuss together why the answer is correct. • For the remaining questions, children should write in their choice of prefix on the answer sheet after each slide is shown. •They then discuss their reasons for their choice with the class when they receive correct feedback on screen and are prompted to discuss when the ‘Why’ appears.
