The telecom ministry has told the country’s chief auditor that it would not be replying to fresh queries related to the later’s probe into alleged wrong doing in the allocation of 2G spectrum and licences to new companies in 2008.
DoT in its communication to comptroller and Auditor General of India has now cited the law ministry’s recent opinion which had said watchdogs cannot question policy decisions of the govt.

Earlier the CAG asked the communications
ministry to amend licence conditions of
telecom operators and add a new clause
enabling it to audit the accounts of private
operators that bagged 3G and broadband
wireless spectrum.
But DoT has refused to give in to this demand
and has decided to seek the law ministry
opinion.

first tablet computer at a developers
conference in San Francisco.
The Company said that the new device, the
blackberry playbook, would be aimed mainly
at business users.
The Playbook will use a new operating
system developed by QNX Software Systems.

Users will able to connect to the Internet
through the wireless Bluetooth connection to
their Blackberry’s or by using Wi-Fi networks.
