Nature’s Classroom offers this environmental education
program. It is a solid academic experience with an emphasis on
scientific inquiry and critical thinking. The students develop a
stronger sense of community, greater confidence in themselves
and a better appreciation for others and the earth we share.
This understanding carries over to their school, parish &
family life.
The Virtue for October is OPENNESS Openness is being honest, clear and sincere, sharing who we
are and what we feel. It is the willingness to consider new
ideas and listen to others with an open mind. We listen to the
feelings of others with compassionate curiosity. We are more
interested in connecting and communicating than controlling.
When we are open, we are receptive to the blessings and
surprises of life.

Today is Priesthood Sunday. Please take the time
to thank Fr. Gary, Fr. Steve and Fr. Boniface for
their vocation.
Prayer for Priests Gracious and loving God, we thank you
for the gift of our priests.
Through them, we experience your presence
in the sacraments.
Help our priests to be strong in their vocation.
Set their souls on fire with love for your people.
Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they
need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.
Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel.
Allow them to experience joy in their ministry.
Help them to become instruments of your divine grace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns as
our Eternal Priest.
Amen.

Join us for an exciting new Bible Study -
Mark: The Gospel Through the Eyes of Peter.
Learn the compelling introduction to Christ,
experiencing Him as a “worker of mighty deeds”
who expels demons, heals the sick and teaches that
the Kingdom of God has not only arrived, but is in
power. Learn, through Peter, why Christ’s suffering
was necessary. You will hear the Lord’s call,
understanding it like never before, just as those first
disciples – empowering you to spread the Good
News as they did. Sessions begin October 3rd
through November 21st and will resume March 5,
2020 through May 14th and will be held in the
Marian Hall.

We have begun our RCIA Program for this year. We are in the Inquiry
Period of the journey. This is the time when questions are asked and
answered about such things as Our Faith, The Trinity, Who Christ is, the
Bible and more. This period lasts for 13 weeks. Participating in this time
does not obligate anyone to continue onto the next step of the process. If
you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Catholic, it’s never
too late. We would love to have you join us. Sessions are held on Sunday
Morning’s at 8:30AM – 10:30AM in the Adult Catechesis Office in the
basement of the church. For further information about the program
please contact Bob Marston by email: [email protected] or phone 603-926-2206

Below is just one of the many CD titles available in our Lighthouse Media Collection:
Humanae Vitae 50 Years Later: History of Dissent and Defense Janet Smith, Ph.D. a seminary professor and internationally-known author and speaker, provides important context for why Humanae Vitae is considered the most controversial, and one of the most important, encyclicals promulgated by the Church in modern times. She discusses how this document written by Blessed Pope Paul VI served to prophetically warn the world of the dire consequences associated with artificial contraception and faithfully witness to the beauty of God’s plan for sex within marriage.
Full of Grace: The Message of the Angel Renowned speaker, author, and musician Vinny Flynn makes the angel’s message at the Annunciation come alive with meaning and relevance by delving into Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of St. John Paul II. Vinny helps listeners understand the deeper significance of the words of the Hail Mary prayer and the angel’s greeting, offering penetrating insights into the role of our Blessed Mother in God’s plan of salvation.
We kindly ask for a donation of $5.00 per book (or otherwise specified suggested donation), $4.00 per CD (or 3 for $10.00), and $3.00 per booklet so that we may continue this program. Please make all checks out to “OLMM.” Won’t you reach out and help bring someone home?

after the 9:00AM Mass and will extend for 12 Hours to 9:30PM. We will be implementing a monthly sign
up in lieu of the yearly commitment which was previously in place.
A sign-up sheet will be available several weeks before the upcoming month.
All the hours need to have someone assigned to them or the Adoration will not be made available that month.
