Good Work Certificates
Teddy is now fully recovered from his operation and no
longer has to wear his special coat. He has been
out and about this week and has enjoyed listening to the
children’s poems on Tuesday.
Teddy has been working with several children on a
one-to one basis this week, helping them to stay calm and focus on their work.

Nursery Open
Morning
Does your child turn 3 between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020?
If so, they will be eligible to start in our School Nursery in September 2020.
We are holding an Open Morning on Thursday 19th March at 10am for parents and children to come and
visit. There will be an opportunity to meet the staff and look round the
Nursery. No need to book, just come along. Everyone welcome!
On Friday 20th March (9.15am to 10.15am) we would like to
invite mums and female carers to a special assembly followed
by a fun workshop in your child’s class.
Please wait outside the main school entrance
for the assembly.

IMPORTANT!
Please keep a look-out on our Schudio App and Website for any last minute changes to our planned events over
the next few weeks.
We are doing our bit for the environment, and trying to reduce the amount of letters and
flyers that we send home with the children.
After the Easter Holiday in April 2020 we shall be
posting all our flyers and reminders on our Schudio App only.
Please make sure you have the App on your phone or tablet to keep upto date!
Poetry Workshop
Andy Tooze, a published poet who wrote “The Poetry Bug”, came into school on Tuesday.
The children had an assembly followed by individual class workshops, where they
worked with Andy to write their own poems!
In the afternoon there was an open assembly for parents and carers to come and see and hear some of the children’s creative poems.
This half-term the children have been making
cookies in their cooking lessons. The recipe is
attached at the back of the newsletter if you would like to bake them at
home too.
Class photos will be taken on Tuesday 17th March. Proofs will be sent home giving details of how to purchase either through
the school or on-line.

Parking / Driving
near school
Please take extra care when driving/parking outside school, in particular at the entrance to
the school car park where children are crossing.
The entrance to the car park should not be used as a place to turn cars around and staff and visitors are reminded to take extra care
entering and exiting the car park at all times.
The safety of our children is paramount and we would remind all parents that they can report
any incidents to Warwickshire Police’s ‘Operation Snap’
