This Week’s Focus

* Area: The amount of a two-dimensional surface that is contained within a plane figure. The area of a shape can be measured by covering the surface with square unit tiles. The tiles cannot overlap each other or leave gaps. (MD.5) * Perimeter: The total length of all sides of a shape. (MD.8)
