• Walmart is focused on spring essentials this week, just as it was during this week last year. In its current promo, the retailer is featuring best-selling cleaning products such as vacuum cleaners, glass cleaners and paper towels as well as special deals on Easter merchandise.

• Last year this week, Walmart offered discounted fresh and canned food as well as soft drinks and a variety of cleaning products.

SPRING FORWARD

• This week, Kmart is focusing on wardrobe essentials for spring and offering buy one, get one deals on footwear for the family and women’s tops, dresses, leggings and fashion costume jewelry. The retailer is promoting soft drinks and cleaning products, as well.

• During this week last year, Kmart promoted its Dollar Days Sale and offered deals such as buy one, get one for $1 on kids’ footwear and $1 liquid detergent.

EVERYDAY GREAT PRICES

• In its current promo, Kohl’s is promoting apparel and shoes for spring as well as bath essentials and kitchen electronics. Rewards members can take an extra 20% off their purchase with coupon and receive triple points on their purchase.

• Kohl’s is promoting a KitchenAid mixer this week, just as it did during this week last year; this year, it is advertised at $319 while last year it was $349 plus 10% off.
