Australian Rotary Health Australian Rotary Health (ARH) is now one of the largest independent health research organisations in Australia and one of the most worthwhile Rotary projects Clubs can support. Contributions from Rotary Clubs in Tasmania have been down in recent years. Therefore we are asking all Clubs to consider making an annual contribution so more funds are available for much needed research. One way to do this is to be involved in ARH Week from 3 rd – 7 th October. We are hoping that during this week all Clubs can plan a fundraising activity of their choice, large or small, and make a contribution to ARH as well as help raise its profile in the District. Clubs may like to consider involving businesses, schools, local dignitaries and media to raise ARH’s profile in their community. ARH speakers are also available to speak or discuss ARH at club meetings. The sixth annual ARH Hat Day is on 7 th October this year to coincide with ARH Week. This is a fun way to make an ‘annual giving’ to ARH as well as shining a light on mental health, as funds from Hat Day go to mental health research. Another good opportunity to involve the community and gain some media coverage. Chair of ARH, Biddy Fisk, Lord Mayor Sue Hickey and Dr Happy at last year’s Hat Day launch in Hobart ARH board member Kevin Shadbolt supporting Hat Day I am look forward to a great ARH week!

Australian Rotary Health

Australian Rotary Health (ARH) is now one of the largest independent health research organisations in Australia and one of the most worthwhile Rotary projects Clubs can support.

Contributions from Rotary Clubs in Tasmania have been down in recent years. Therefore we are asking all Clubs to consider making an annual contribution so more funds are available for much needed research.

One way to do this is to be involved in ARH Week from 3rd – 7th October.

The sixth annual ARH Hat Day is on 7th October this year to coincide with ARH Week. This is a fun way to make an ‘annual giving’ to ARH as well as shining a light on mental health, as funds from Hat Day go to mental health research. Another good opportunity to involve the community and gain some media coverage.
