We are very excited to be having another great year of our Summer Camp Program here at Jeff Speakman’s Kenpo 5.0 Pasadena. We have had great success and positive feedback from all those

that attended the previous camps and we hope you will be another happy camper! We hope your enthusiasm for this camp, and the excitement of our staff will not only provide a safe, but

AWESOME experience for each and every camper this summer. It is important to understand that our goal is to provide your camper with a safe environment during the

summer camp full of activities, field trips and most importantly, disciplined Karate instruction (optional for new students). Each enrolled camper will receive the following:

* FREE T-shirt (if attending 4+ weeks of camp); otherwise please purchase camp shirts for $20. *Weekly field trips (included in the price of the camp unless otherwise stated) *Daily snack and juice (1 morning 1 afternoon. Campers are welcome to bring their own snacks as well) *Activities (Outside Water Play, Obstacle Course, Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, giant bowling, ball-hop relay races, trampoline jump) *Arts & Crafts! *Movie time *Game time (video/board games in the game room, organized group games on the mat) *Life lesson skills (dedication, confidence, respect, and much more) *Word of the Week for Positive Character Building (group discussions about word of the week called Mat Chat) *Karate instruction *And so many fun memories Each camper must have their karate uniform on the days we do karate (Monday-Thursday).

* If you are new to our school you must purchase a new karate uniform to attend karate classes.

We are going to have a blast this summer and we want you to be a part of it!

Fun Days

• Pajama Day: Campers wear their favorite pajamas. Campers should bring an extra change of clothes/shoes with them for activities.

• Crazy Hair Day: Campers are free to go wild with their hair, colors, style, accessories, etc!

• Movie Day: Campers can bring in his/her favorite movie. Campers will vote on the movie they would like to watch that day.

• Favorite Book Day: Campers will bring a book from home and read aloud to the class.

• Tacky Sock Day: Campers wear mismatched and funny socks!

Field Trips:

•Campers MUST wear/bring summer camp T-shirt to EVERY Field Trip!

•Campers should wear comfortable clothes and shoes to field trips •Campers should have a backpack with extra clothes just in case

•Campers should bring extra money with them on field trips to purchase snacks along the way or to buy souvenirs if they would like.

•Campers should wear or have sunscreen with them on the days we are out in the sun.

•Campers should bring any special items or medication with them on field trips (A staff member should be advised of any special attention needed for a child)

*Karate uniforms should be brought to the studio every Monday and left in

cubbies. Uniforms go home every Thursday to

be washed!
