This Week at AUMC

WEEKLY BULLETIN Please take one bulletin each week per family. We utilize the extra bulletins by mailing to shut-ins the first of each week after the service. We recycle all other remaining bulletins. We need to continue to monitor our expenses and this is one way we can be good stewards at AUMC.

The Story Continues: Understanding Jesus’s Ministry

Walk to Emmaus The walk to Emmaus is a three-day weekend retreat

designed to help one grow deeper in faith & come closer to Christ. The objective of Emmaus is to inspire,

challenge, & equip. You’ll enjoy three days of learning, laughing, worshipping, reflecting, and praying. You’ll hear talks given by laity & clergy which present the theme of God’s grace. You’ll discover how grace is real in your life. How you can live a life filled with

grace...and how you can share grace with others. The Men walk is scheduled for March 8th-11th 2018 & Women walk is

March15th-18th. Many of your Church family have already attended Emmaus Walks. If you would like to learn more about this meaningful & priceless time with God, please contact Tim Kennedy at 336-847-1564.

IF: Gathering All Ladies are invited to a Community Gathering that will be held

February 9-10th 2018. Join ladies from over 60+ different churches or without a church home gathered together to grow spiritually &

connect with women of all ages from all around our community. This year the event will be held at Journey Church in Asheboro, NC.

IF: Gathering 2018 focus on Paul’s letter to Timothy will help us remember that the work we are doing to share the gospel on earth

matters. We will praise, sing, pray & learn through a variety of speakers & worship opportunities.
