• Language Arts (A.R., core novels, core literature, writing)
• Math (number sense, algebra & functions, geometry, mathematical reasoning)

• Science (human body, changes of state, mixtures and solutions, weather, solar system, review of 4th grade concepts- electricity, rocks and minerals, ecosystems)

Accelerated ReaderDuring the trimester, each student is required to take 3 quizzes at his/her IRL, within his/her ZPD.
Passing scores are 80% and above.
There is time in the computer lab and in class to take quizzes!

It is our school policy to not have any birthday celebrations at school.
Please do not send in any treats (such as cakes, cupcakes, and etc), as they will be turned away.
Sending in simple goody bags (without any edible items) are allowed.
Please NO Peanuts or Tree Nuts
