DAY 1 Arrive in the afternoon at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, where you are greeted by a professional local guide. A private transfer will take you to Sanur, where your hotel is located, known for its beautiful beaches. Check into your hotel and enjoy your afternoon at leisure. Dinner is included in the evening.

DAY 2After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a welcome drink in the morning and spend the afternoon at your leisure, enjoying the hotel amenities. In the evening, transfer from your hotel to Rumah Bali Restaurant where you will try a Balinese Rijsttafel menu. Experience authentic Balinese cuisine in a traditional crafted village setting. Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel.

DAY 3 Rise early for a morning meditation at the hotel and feel the fresh morning breeze of Bali. After breakfast at your hotel, set off to learn the way of life of the Balinese people. Visit a typical Balinese village where you will see how many traditional families live in several homes around a communal patio and with a family temple facing Mount Agung. While visiting a local family, learn how they make the typical Balinese offerings. Heading north, you will begin to see the rice terraces along the hillsides. After lunch, continue north where you will stop to see the colorful market at Candi Kuning. From here, it is a short drive to Lake Beratan to see the Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, a water temple located along the shore. Relax and admire the countryside as you ride to the southwestern coast to perhaps the most photographed temple in Bali, Tanah Lot. One of seven sea temples infamous for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops, Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali’s most important landmarks. The temple is inaccessible at high tide.

DAY 4 In the morning, drive to the village of Batubulan to see the best-known dance in Bali, the Barong. Telling the tale of the fight between good and evil, the lion-like Barong battles the demon queen Rangda, while all the dancers wear beautifully decorated masks. Stop to visit the long-tailed macaques in the Ubud Monkey Forest, where 14th century temples have been taken over by the jungle and these playful characters. Continue on to the local market and the Palace, still used by the Royal family. In Ubud, enjoy a stop at Cafe Wayan, known from the book Eat Pray Love, where a lunch has been prepared. Visit the Tirta Empul Temple, famous for its holy water for more than a thousand years, before driving to some of the most photographic rice terraces on the island. Then, stop at a coffee plantation where you can see the traditional method of preparing coffee, and enjoy a sample.

DAY 5After breakfast at the hotel, set off on a day of discovery to see even more natural beauty. You will drive to Kintamani where you will have panoramic views of the mountains and the semi-active volcanoes from a distance. Clouds permitting, you will see Mt. Batur standing majestically over the beautiful Batur Lake. Next, travel to Penglipuran, a traditional village where you can see the Balinese architecture that has been passed down through the generations. Enjoy lunch in the village of Guliang with a view of the local rice fields. After lunch, return to your hotel where you will have some free time to stroll, relax, shop or maybe even indulge in a spa treatment before gathering for your farewell dinner at the resort.

DAY 6 After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy the rest of the morning at leisure until check out. A transfer back to the Denpasar International Airport will be provided.
