Welcome to British Columbia. Here in British Columbia there are big mountains and rocky walls it would be an amazing experience because you can see a lot of wildlife. The Capital of British Columbia!

The Capital of British Columbia is Victoria. Victoria is known as the city of Gardens, they call it the city of the Gardens because it has a tone of Gardens surrounding the area, but it still has a couple of big roads and that is the Capital City of British Columbia!

Here on the left is a picture of the most prettiest gardens of Victoria and they created this wonderful garden to attract people from all over the world.

Industries and Natural resources!

Some Industries are rocks and minerals, grains, fruits and vegetables, lumber, fishing, coal mining, farming, tourism and oil companies and those are the natural resources of British Columbia.

Coal is a main Industry

Logging is important in British Columbia

Gold was another thing that went with coal

They make Gold necklace's out of Gold

Where is British Columbia?The location of British Columbia is that it is the most western province in Canada and on the right is Alberta, a cool fact of British Columbia is that it is the third largest province in Canada. That's something that I didn't know! British Columbia is the light green on the map.

As you can see the Pacific Ocean is on the left of British Columbia. Another cool fact is that the short form of British Columbia is B.C!

Physical Characteristics!The Physical Characteristics of British Columbia are high mountains because it has the Cordillera Region and the Cordillera is known for its high mountains!

British Columbia also has large rainforests and good ski hills!

Climate!

The Climate of British Columbia is rather mild but if you live near the Pacific Ocean then you will get strong winds. If you live in Victoria then you would get HUGE! Waves when a storm comes usually if you live in Vancouver for example then you wouldn't get much snow in the Winter!

The animals and plant life of British Columbia are quite interesting and have many different flowers and animals and I'm going to show you most of the plant and animal life of British Columbia!

In British Columbia they have a lot of big ski hills and small rainforests.

British Columbia's History!

The History of British Columbia is quite interesting because there was an interesting trail called the trail of 1858. They call it this because it was the most interesting trail of 1858!

In the past people have had to live in these wooden house's.

- British Columbia's bird is the Steller's jay

- Did you know that British Columbia's motto is “Splendour without diminishment.”

- British Columbia became part of Canada in the year 1871

- British Columbia's population on December 21 2011 was about 4,595,250
