Welcome to Caravan Club Site A gently sloping site, sheltered on one side by a belt of trees and facing a glorious view over the Nairn Valley, and approximately a mile from the famous Culloden battlefield where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated and Scottish history was rewritten. The site is about six miles from the town of Inverness, with its excellent shopping facilities and is centrally situated for touring some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland including Loch Ness, Black Isle, Moray Coast, Cromarty Firth and the Whisky Trails in the Spey Valley. Don’t miss Glen Affric - you’ll see its magnificent scenery best on foot and maybe even spot some deer. Loch Ness is known around the world for Nessie, the fabled Loch Ness Monster, but famous also for its beauty and history. www.visitlochness.com Fort George On a vast site, this 18th Century fort includes reconstructions of barrack rooms and a display of muskets and pikes. Caravan Club Site

A gently sloping site, sheltered on one side by a belt of trees and facing a glorious view over the Nairn Valley, and approximately a mile from the famous Culloden battlefield where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated and Scottish history was rewritten.

The site is about six miles from the town of Inverness, with its excellent shopping

facilities and is centrally situated for touring some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland including Loch Ness, Black Isle, Moray Coast, Cromarty Firth and the Whisky Trails in the Spey Valley.

Don’t miss Glen Affric - you’ll see its magnificent scenery best on foot and maybe even spot some deer.

General site informationReception ServicesMail and messagesMail and messages are put on the board outside Reception.

Site shopOpening hours are displayed on the reception door. The shop sells Gas, Aqua Kem and Rinse and ice cream.

Information RoomOpen 24 hours. Leaflets are available about the many attractions and places of interest that you can visit during your stay.

Mobile & public telephonesReception is poor for most networks. There is a public telephone located at the site office complex. Please note that this phone does not accept incoming calls.

Pitches

MotorhomesIf your pitch is left unoccupied, please leave your motorhome sign on display.

Vacating your pitchIf you wish to stay after 12 noon on your day of departure, it is normally not a problem unless the site is fully booked. Please see the warden beforehand.

BarbecuesThese are allowed on site but open fires are not. Please keep barbecues off the grass.

TelevisionTelevision is variable by pitch but generally poor. Using site booseter system you get the basic 5 channels.

Electric Hook-upThe costs of electricity are included in your pitch fee, but please help us minimise our effect on the environment by considering your electricity use while on site. Also any saving could help to reduce pitch fees or help towards investments in new sites or redevelopments.

Toilets and showersThe toilet block is closed for cleaning, please see toilet block for times. The disabled toilet and shower facilities are located in the toilet block.

LaundryPrices for the use of the laundry facilities are: Washing machine £3.00, Tumble drier 70p/cycle, Rinse and spin 60p/cycle. Washing sinks are also available. Please do not hang washing lines between trees or on the fences.

Safety on SiteVehicles and cyclesParents are reminded that children remain their responsibility and therefore they should be supervised at all times, and to ensure that all members of their party follow the principles of road safety. Motor vehicles and bicycles on site should, at all times, be used with due regard to the safety and convenience of others and their speed should not exceed walking pace (5mph). No cycling is permitted on site between the hours of dusk and dawn, as determined by the Wardens. Any one-way system signs should be observed by all vehicles and cycles. Foot pedalled cycles, scooters and skateboards can be used, but are not allowed on the paved area around toilet blocks and communal areas and must not be ridden on footpaths. Please note that motorised mobility scooters are allowed on site, but children’s motorised scooters or skateboards are not.

PetsPlease keep your dog on a lead at all times on the site, and clean up after them. Dogs must be walked off-site or in the woods adjacent to the site.

Fire point(to activate alarm/warning) Located on each service point around the site. The fire assembly point is at the office complex.

VisitorsPlease ask your visitors to make themselves known at Reception when arriving at the site. If you are expecting visitors after hours, please meet them at Reception.

Close by SupermarketsThe closest is Tesco in Inverness Retail Park, about 6 miles from the site.
