WELCOME TO FERTIVISION 2018Welcome to Fertivision 2018

We have designed 7 consecutive workshops on first day of the conference. These are namely - IFS Workshop on Do’s and Don’ts in Ovarian Stimulation, Evidence based Infertility Practice, Reproductive Surgery, Ultrasonography Imaging in Infertility Management, Andrology & Semenology, Technological Updates. The Ovarian Stimulation Workshop will be conducted in association with IFS. The Embryology Workshop is being conducted in collaboration with ACE, for the first time.One of these workshops will be on full time floating backwater cruise boat, the first of its kind ever conducted during any Fertivision so far.This conference blends together an eminent group of 25 internationally-renowned faculty and a large group of experienced Indian faculty to present the latest developments in every phase of ART. It addresses the needs of practicing scientists, gynaecologists, reproductive endocrinologists, residents, and fellows who wish to review the speciality and update their knowledge in this rapidly changing and expanding field.

The local organising committee, Kerala Chapter of IFS has chosen 'Beyond All Limits- Breakthrough In Excellence' as the theme for this year's Fertivision. Assisted reproductive technologies are about more than achieving the highest success rates. For many patients, the way in which their dream is fulfilled is another very important determinant of success. With the proposed theme in mind, we have put together what we hope will be an exciting programme.

The conference setting promotes extensive contact among speakers and participants with question periods, panels, and many opportunities for informal interaction. Care has been taken to ensure the postgraduates and fellows get ample opportunities to interact and clear their doubts with faculty of eminence. Another special feature of this conference is a unique solidarity session to be conducted in association with ISAR.

Fertivision 2018 in Kochi aims to be the first ART Congress in India to be centred and Organised in the theme of 'Go Green'. The devastating flood in Kerala has been a wake up call for all of us to be serious in respect for Mother Nature. The Organising Committee is serious in it’s Intent and Invites all participants of the congress to explore and imbibe the concept of ' Green and Greenness ' One of the ways we intend to put theory into practice is by eliminating use of Plastics in whatever way possible . We aim to bring together Delegates of the Conference, Pharma Industry and Hospitality Industry and showcase a range of green initiatives which can provide sustainable solutions for a sustainable tomorrow. We plan the following initiatives for the same.

Ÿ No plastic disposable cups and plates. We plan to use only biodegradable cups and plates during the congress

Ÿ No Plastic ID cards or Meal coupons – Bar-Code Identification will be in place at the Registration area, Exhibition and Food area.

Ÿ No to Flex – The organisers will not allow any advertisement or promotional materials printed on vinyl or flex. Fabric printed banners or standees will be allowed, which can be Re-cycled later on

Ÿ No plastic bottles for drinking water – Safe drinking water will be provided at multiples of locations in earthen jars and clean glass tumblers will be provided. Those who need to drink water more frequently can collect water from, safe water refilling stations.

Ÿ No plastic pen- Biodegradable Pen with seeds will be provided.

Ÿ No second brochure will be printed. There will be no abstract books, and the poster presentations will be as E-posters. Registered delegates can download the abstracts of scientific deliberations, free papers and attendance certificates from 17th December 2018 onwards from the website
