Mature Adults

August 8—9:00am. The bus will leave the church at 9:00am for Golden Flake. We will eat before we tour the plant. We are to be at the plant at

12:30pm. Please sign up in your classroom or call the church office.

August 22—5:00pm. We will enjoy a vegetable meal together. Ladies please bring a vegetable dish and a dessert. A group from Antioch Baptist will have the program. Please sign up in your classroom or call the church

office. Plan now to join us for this time of fellowship.

August 2nd—Pool party at Gunter’s Landing. Family night for all ages.

Already??!! It’s already time for our opportunity to

bless a child with school supplies. There are more

than 400 children in our county who need help with

supplies this year! There will be a container in the

hallway and we want to fill it over and over again

with needed supplies: Pencils, Ruled Paper, Rulers, Colored Markers,

Crayons, Three-Ring Binders, Glue sticks, School Scissors, Notebooks,

Hand Sanitizer, Pencil boxes, Back Packs, Colored Pencils,

Construction Paper, Shampoo, Combs and brushes, misc. school

items. We need supplies by Wednesday August 2. Thank you for

being a blessing!

Ladies Retreat

The Ladies at First Baptist Church Guntersville and Jena Forehand of Stained Glass Ministries are coming together for a “ladies Retreat” and you are invited! The theme is “Living Deeper” and it will be held August 25th through the 27th at Goose Pond Colony in Scottsboro. Two options of attendance are available. The first includes lodging, meals and an event shirt and is $150. The second doesn’t cover lodging, but does cover all meals and an event t-shirt. This option is $50. Registration forms are available at the office as well as Sunday School rooms. See Cindy Glassco, Shirley Troilo, Belinda Strickland, Jean Ann Scott or Regina Lee for more information or sign up forms. Ladies, you won’t want to miss it, deadline for sign up is August 4th.
