**Needed for Budget—$5,000.00** Offertory .00

Thank you for your offering. “Whatever you give to the Lord,

He will return to you a hundred fold”

We have many friends and family who, for one rea-son or another, can not make it to Mass. Some due to illness, some due to lack of trans-portation, some due to a temporary medical situation, and others are just unable leave their home. We miss seeing all of them at Mass.

This week we pray especially for all who will be without friends or family this Christmas Season. The greatest gift we can give is our time, our concern, and His love. Make a call, make a visit, pray they know they are never alone. God is with us... always. Also, if you or someone you know would like a communion visit from a Eucharistic Minister, please call the parish office of any church in our grouping. #s on the front of the bulletin.

Dear Parishioners,

It is three days until Christmas. The older I get, the faster time flies. How different from childhood where the first 24 days of December felt like 3 months.

I hope these are happy days for you as our Savior’s birthday draws near. Please remember Christmas isn’t just one day. We celebrate an octave for Christmas - eight days of 12/25. So, it’s time to party because we really do have something wonderful to celebrate: Jesus came into our world and re-mains.

Prior to the news of someone donating a crèche – which was accepted – for the lawn of the Beaver County Courthouse, I received a letter from a parishioner asking that I suggest to you that this very thing is something that we could do as individuals. Even if civic buildings or parks cannot display the crèche, it is well within our power to give visual witness to our faith in Christ Jesus. Maybe it’s too late for this year but certainly possible for the next. But, really all of the wreathes, trees and lights are a witness that each home is celebrating CHRISTmas. All these decorations are impor-tant. They give off more than light. They give happiness, hope, joy and beauty to all who look upon it. So, thank you to all whose electricity bills will be higher next month! You remind me to let myself feel the joy of being loved by Jesus.

Because of the Christmas holiday, the Rectory staffs will have extra time off. Leave messages, if you have a need and someone will get back to you. Since I’m still living there, Beaver would be the best place to call for something urgent.

Father Paul, Fr. Mark, Fr. Mike and all the parish staffs join me in wishing you a blessed and joyous Christmas. Choose to be happy! Jesus loves you.
