• 0-5 years•Move onto the National Curriculum in Year 1 or when they are ready• Learn through play• Work alongside parents

• Jolly Phonics programme• Easy to use for teachers, parents and

children• A 20 minute phonic session everyday • Jolly phonic actions will be sent home

to reinforce their learning • Continuous assessment

•After the alphabet we then move onto introducing graphemes

•All Reception children are to arrive and be picked up via the Reception gate, at the side of the school. (the same for visit days too)•All children will receive free school dinners, unless your child want a packed lunch.•All children receive a piece of fruit everyday and a carton of milk up to the age of 5.•Try to get your child toilet trained•Prepare them for school by discuss routines, trying on uniform, completing short activities and reading books.

Things you need for September:

• PE kit• Spare clothes• Water bottle• Bag (to be sent everyday)• Wellingtons boots for the

outdoor area• Label everything
