How to become a Christian

WinSome Women Spring 2016 - Do you have questions about God? Do you have a problem understanding your man? Do you know how to put on the garment of praise? WinSome Women retreat presents Philip Yancey, Shaunti Feldhahn and Robin Mark who will encourage you on your journey through these questions. Come with your friends and experience enriching speakers, uplifting worship and the ambiance of Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. May 17-18, 18-19, 19-20. Registration info on the bulletin board.

Scholarship Time! High School applicants must be a regular attendee of The Church of the Straits. The Missions Committee evaluates each applicant based on a set of criteria previously adopted by the committee. Applications due to COS by May 1 st to qualify. For an application contact the office.

Operation Shoe Box Collection – April is stuffed dolls/toys, balls, little cars and jump rope month.The collection box is in the Fellowship Hall.

Thank you to Roger Moore for filling the pulpit this morning while Pastor Dave and his family are on a much deserved vacation!

April is Baby Bottle Blessings Month –baby bottles are in a Bassinet in Fellowship Hall. Please prayerfully take a bottle home, fill it with change and return it to the church by May 1st. Money collected will be sent to the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Cheboygan.

Update on Jerry Prior- all his tests came back with flying colors, he is a candidate for surgery. But the surgery has been postponed and they don’t have a new date yet. Sandy and Jerry thank everyone for their continued prayers. ♥
