Sliding windows provide a minimalist result

with a sense of openness and freedom. The

amount of ventilation can be varied with a

touch of your hand.

The aluminium frame slides smoothly and

security is outstanding with interlocking of

the sliding and fixed sash stiles when closed

and a ventilation key lock is also available

allowing windows to be locked in a choice of

two open positions.

Single glazing and double glazing can be

used in sliding windows including further

options like colonial bars and federation bar

layouts as well as flyscreens to keep

unwanted pests out.

The most favourite window out of the

bunch because it offers ventilation and

security from not only intruders but from

the rain as well!

The chain winders hold the windows in

place and prevent slamming in gusty

weather. The hood provides protection

from rain, wind and dust at the same

time providing airflow.

All winders come keyed for added

security and have stainless steel

chains. Flyscreens can be fitted as

required.

Colonial and federation bars can also

be added to your awning window.

Awning windows can be glazed in

single or double glazing.

Double hung windows combine the strength,

low maintenance, improved securities and

easy operation all in one window.

Enjoy flexible ventilation in most weather by

opening either top or bottom windows, or both.

The strength of the windows is enhanced by

interlocking of the top and bottom sashes

when closed. This interlocking of the meeting

rail gives added security and prevents

tampering.

Optional key locks for added security are

available as well as flyscreens.

Casement windows have a side-hinged sash that opens to the exterior of your home. Casement windows are opened by use of a locking key handle on the inside of the window sash. The Multi-Locking system gives extra security it locks from 3 points. One great advantage of casement windows over all other operating windows is their ability to maximize and control the breeze and direct it into any area of your home. This is achieved by their unique 90° opening ability, which partially centre’s the sash, capturing the breeze from any direction. They also offer easy cleaning of glass from inside Fly screens are available as well as Colonial and federation bars for the more traditional look.

Hinged doors in aluminium and glass

are ideal in any situation, from front

doors to utility doors. They can be

supplied in standard configurations or

follow a more developed design

approach. The door stiles and rails are

substantial and strong, and come with

many upgrade options - decorative

glazing bars, choice of attractive

hardware, highlights, sidelights and

adjacent windows in a range of

configurations.

Bottom rails are available in standard

size to match the rest of the door, or

can be made deeper with the addition

of a rail extender that gives a more

traditional appearance. Weathering is

achieved through a sill drainage

system and backing seal design. Highly

secure door locks are available.

Sliding doors make your home look

bigger and brighter.

Sliding doors are fitted with adjustable,

long lasting single nylon rollers that glide

smoothly on extruded aluminium tracks.

Protection from the wind, rain and dust

is provided by interlockers fitted to the

door stile and mullion. These lock

together when closed for additional

security.

All glass panels have a visual motif strip

for added safety and sump sill doors

designed for easy wheelchair access

are available.

Double glazing is available for energy

efficiency requirements.

Colonial and federation bars can also be

added to the sliding door.

stack when opened, leaving an

opening unobstructed by beams

or frames. This means a bi-fold

Sliding stacker doors open to provide

a wide two-thirds opening for easy

access. The sliding stacker extends

your indoor and outdoor living areas

dramatically.

Stacker doors can be double glazed,

screens and deadlocks can also be

fitted.

Colonial and federation bar layouts

are available for the more traditional

look.

All barrier screens incorporate 7 mm security mesh and self-latching keylock handles (doors only).

Hinged barrier screens can be upgraded to comply with Australian Standards (AS 2803 - 1994) upon request.

Handle heights are dependent on customer requirements and the position of any internal door hardware.

It is recommended that a qualified installer fit barrier screens and doors.

Black hardware is supplied as standard

Barrier grills can be fitted to windows and sliding

The firm pressure between blades and the

patented design of the 'living hinge' ensure

that Altair Louvre Windows seal tightly

when closed. On rainy days water is

cleverly directed to the outside of the
