EverMark Door Products Limited WarrantyAll door products manufactured by EverMark, LLC meet or exceed general accepted industry standards and are warranted for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Each door is fabricated with quality materials and workmanship. EverMark warrants that these products are free from defects in materials and workmanship based on normal recommended usage for residential applications.

In the event that a warranty claim may arise, and upon written notice to EverMark, the company will, at its sole option, either (1) repair the door without charge, or (2) provide a replacement product at no charge in the same stage of fitting and finish as originally purchased, or (3) refund the price received by EverMark for the product. Proof of purchase is required in either event. EverMark will not be held liable for any repaired or replaced product without prior written consent.

All doors must be handled and installed in accordance with the handling, installation, and finishing guidelines recommended by EverMark. Action on any claim for warping may be deferred for a time frame of up to twelve months from the claim date in order to permit conditioning and equalizing to humidity and temperature conditions.

Warping will not be considered a defect unless it exceeds 1/4” in the plane of the door. Warp refers to distortions such as bow, twist, and cup. Warp refers to the door only, and does not include the relationship of the door to the frame or jamb.

Warranty claims are not applicable to doors that are improperly hung. In addition, improper service or appearance caused as a result of the failure to provide adequate overhang and/or not finishing the door properly are not covered under the terms and conditions of this warranty. Natural variations in the color and texture of wood are not considered manufacturing defects. Doors exceeding 3’0” in width and 7’0” in height are not covered under the conditions of this warranty.

EverMark shall not be held liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these exclusions and limitations may not necessarily apply to you. All implied warranties are limited to a period of one year from the date of purchase.

Roof OverhangAdequate roof overhang is contingent on the exposure from the north, south, east, or west of the entryway, as well as your geographic region. Adequate roof overhang (see drawing at right) is where the roof overhang projects out a distance from the structure no less than 1/2 the elevation difference between the bottom edge of the door and the base of the overhang’s highest point above the entry. Distance in inches divided by elevation in inches must equal at least 0.5 or greater.
