Welcome to Wamberal Public School. We are proud of our school and look forward to partnering
together with you in the education of your children.
Wamberal Public School is a proud member of the Tuggerah Lakes Learning Community. Our
school has almost 700 students and offers a nurturing and caring environment in which each
student is known, valued and cared for.
Our school is well known for academic achievement, positive welfare practices and opportunities
for students to excel through sport, and the creative and performing arts.
Our school is strongly supported by an active Parents’ and Citizens’ Association who work
tirelessly to increase parental involvement, support school programs and raise additional funding
to support the school. Our school maintains an effective partnership with the local Kuriwa
Aboriginal Education Consultative Group, (AECG)

❑ If your child has health, disability or other support needs you will need to provide copies of the medical/healthcare or
emergency action plan and evidence of any disability and learning and support plans.

• Originals of all documents must be sighted by school executive during the
enrolment interview.

• Enrolment interviews provide the opportunity for
parents to share further information with school staff
about their child’s learning and wellbeing needs.
• A school executive staff member will contact you to
arrange an enrolment interview with you and your
child.
• Enrolment interview appointments are by Zoom video
call or in person at the school office.

• After the enrolment interview, you will be provided with
details to enrol in the Wambles Transition to School
Program.
• Parents and children are encouraged to attend the
Wambles Transition Program together.
• During the program, parents are provided with additional
information about school services whilst the children are
participating in the program with school staff.

• The Department of Education provides a range of enrolment and support options for
children with disability or special learning needs.
• Parents and carers are encouraged to contact our school early in the year prior to
Kindergarten enrolment to discuss support options.
