Semester System
• Implemented 2012-2013 school year
• Semester 1 (September 9 – February 5)
• Semester 2 (February 8 – June 29 )
• Each semester has 5 Blocks of approximately 62 hour each
• Most courses are semesterized but there are annual classes (every 2nd day all year)
WMCI Schedule• WMCI operates on a 6 day cycle. Each class is 62 minutes long

High School Program• To receive a high school diploma, students must
complete at least 30 credits from Grade 9 to Grade 12.– 17 credits are compulsory from Grade 9 to Grade
12.– 13 credits are optional from Grade 9 to Grade 12.– WMCI students are also enrolled in
Gr.9/10 RIT/Writing & Gr.9 Trans Math
