HOME LEARNING• Home learning designed to prepare for, reinforce and
extend learning that has taken place in class. • Balance of Mathematics tasks, multiplication tables
practice and spelling tasks. In addition, a project will be set in Week 3 to be completed over the term. This will include Literacy tasks related to our learning theme.
• The expectation is that children spend no longer than 25 minutes on an activity.
• We also expect the children to read for at least 15 minutes every night.

How can we help at home?Encourage your child to:
• Organise themselves on a daily basis (letters, PE kit etc...)
• Check their personal emails regularly• Set up a desk or study area• Start home learning on their own• See if they can solve their own problems• Be inquisitive• Explore their interests
