CONVENIENT BILL PAYING

• Bank Draft – Your checking account will automatically be drafted on the date due each month for the amount of your electric bill. Simple, convenient, safe and you’re

guaranteed that your bill will be paid on time. Each month you will still receive a monthly statement showing electricity use and cost.

• Online Payments – Bill payments are accepted at www.horryelectric.comthrough MyEnergy Online.

• Conveniently Located Pay Stations – Pay your electric bill at local branchlocations of Conway National Bank, Anderson Brothers Bank and HorryCounty State Bank. For the most up-to-date list of options, visit horryelectric.com

• By Mail – Mail your check or money order to Horry Electric’s main office in Conway.

MOBILE APPHorry Electric has made getting information about your power bill a little easier. We have a free application for smart phones

that gives users fast, simple access to their accounts.

ADVANCE PAYAdvance Pay works similar to a prepaid cellular phone. You put

money into your Advance Pay account and as you use electricity, the cost ofthe usage will be deducted from your Advance Pay account balance daily.

CAPITAL CREDITSCapital Credits are the only form of equity a member-owned utility has. Each year, all revenue over and above expenses is

assigned by the Cooperative to each member’s Capital Credits Account.The amount of your Capital Credits is determined by your yearly payments for electricity.

H2O SELECT®

Receive up to a $250 rebate on your next water heater by participating in the H2O Select program. To qualify, simply

replace your existing water heater with an electric water heating system that meets Horry Electric’s standards. We’ll inspect the system and give youmoney back.

LOAD MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMembers who allow Horry Electric to install a load management

device on a qualifying, minimum 50 gallon electric water heater, will get a onetime $50 electric bill credit.

SURGE GUARD®

Surge Guard offers protection from power surges that can damageappliances and electronics like TVs, computers and refrigerators.

GREEN POWERHorry Electric joins with Santee Cooper to offer GreenPower. The environmentally friendly program gives you

the opportunity to purchase electricity generated by renewable power sources.

811 CALL BEFORE YOU DIGBefore you begin a project, such as installing a new fence, planting shrubbery or trees, take into account that underground electric

service or other utility lines may be present. If you’re not absolutely sure where any underground lines are located on your property, call 811.

OPERATION ROUND UP®

For only pennies a month or approximately $6 a year, by rounding up your monthly electric bill, Horry Electric’s giving program

allows each member to help make a difference for those in our communities who need it most. All new members are automatically included in OperationRound Up when signing up for service. If you opt not to participate or if youchoose to discontinue your contributions at any time, simply contact us.

BRIGHT IDEASHorry Electric offers Bright Ideas, a grant program that provides funding to teachers for innovative classroom-based educationprojects.

WASHINGTON YOUTH TOUREvery year Horry Electric Cooperative sponsors local high school juniors on an all-expense paid trip to our nation’s capital. This

week-long tour gives students a chance to see our government in action and experience the history of the United States firsthand.

SAFETY DEMONSTRATIONSWe regularly offer safety demonstrations to students and othergroups throughout our service area in an effort to teach important
