WORSHIP WELCOME A bout 400 years ago Pilgrims landed on the northeast coast of America. The first year they established a town site. The next year they elected a town government. The third year the town government planned to build a road five miles westward into the wilderness. In the fourth year the people tried to impeach their town government because they thought it was a waste of public funds to build a road five miles westward into a wilderness. Who needed to go there anyway? It’s amazing to me that the same people who had the vision to see more than three thousand miles across an ocean and overcome great hardships to get there, could not be able to see even five miles out of town. Thanksgiving is a reminder of personal and religious freedom. But it’s also a good time to remember how much we can accomplish when we keep our eyes on Jesus and are willing to work together to accomplish Christ’s mission for the church. Welcome to Worship. May God bless you as we worship Him together this Sabbath day. WORSHIPWELCOME

About 400 years ago Pilgrims landed on the northeast coast of America. The first year they established a town site. The

next year they elected a town government.

SAS FLOAT & PARADESpringdale Adventist School staff and students are building a floatto participate in the Springdale Christmas Parade next Saturday evening, November 30th. The Parade leaves the Rodeo of the Ozarks (Parson’s Stadium) at 6pm and will parade down Emma Street. We are still needing a few volunteers to walk by the float and toss candy. If interested, pickup a flier on foyer counter, or contact Megan Knudson, (817) 944-3022.

SAF MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIESDesperately needing substitute children’s sabbath school teachers and Cradle Roll help. Substitutes are critical for when the leaders are not available. Please connect with Suzi Bennett for ministry descriptions and training: her email is: [email protected]

BOOK GIVE-A-WAYDo you have questions and fears about facing the “end times”? The book, The Called, The Chosen, was written as an encouragement for Seventh-day Adventists, helping us recognize how God has led in the past and that He is still in complete control today. Books are on the counter in the foyer, Feel free to take as many as you like for yourself and to share with others.

Everyday, people live lives that they feel do not have a purpose. What happens when Christians struggle with the question, “What is my purpose?” Or, “How can God use me? I’m a nobody!”

As believers in Christ, we all have a calling. And while that calling may not be to go to Africa or enter into full-time pastoral ministry, your calling is still very much relevant and ever-so important. In this series we’re going to take a look at what it means to make an impact right where you are in your life and how to discover what you’re called to do. Get ready to be the switch!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!5:45p Prayer Time in the Sanctuary

CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER | Mon - Fri, 5:45pm

You are invited to congregational prayer Monday-Friday at 5:45pm and Sabbath after fellowship meal in the sanctuary. This will last as long as there are people willing to pray. We are intentionally setting aside time to pray for our: Church Leaders, School teachers, Church unity, evangelism, ministries, and personal prayer requests. (These personal requests will not be the confidential prayer cards turned for Prayer Warriors; only what’s on the heart at the time of prayers).
