We love what we do, we’re passionate about the services and products we offer, and we care about the people we work with every day—our customers, our colleagues, our communities.
Because in the end, it comes down to what really matters . . . caring for you.
That’s the True Blue Difference.
TRUE BLUE DIFFERENCE®
How do I submit a claim?
Direct – Ask your health care provider if they’re able
to submit the claim electronically at time of service.
Online or Mobile – Submit a claim on the mobile app or
online and attach electronic copies (scans or photos) of
your receipts.
By Mail – Download a claim form at
sk.bluecross.ca/bluelink. Print and complete it,
attach your original receipts, and drop it in the mail.
In Person – Bring your completed paper claim, along
with your original receipts, to one of our offices.
Do I need to carry my new ID card with me?
Your Blue Cross ID card includes your policy and
identification numbers. You’ll need it whenever you
contact us about your benefits. You’ll also have to
present it to your health care provider when
requesting services. If you’ve downloaded our
Group Member Services mobile app, you can use
your phone as a virtual ID card.
What can I do on my smartphone?
Our mobile app allows you to submit your claim in
under a minute. It comes packed with features.
• Find the nearest service provider
• Check your coverage
• Use your phone as a virtual ID card
• Submit your claims
• View your claim history
• View your plan usage
• View your profile and update your information
How much can I do online?
Almost everything. Just log in to your account from
any Internet connection.
• Find out what your benefits plan covers
• Submit an eClaim
• View your claim history
• View and print your Explanation of Benefits
(EOB) statements
• View your profile and update your contact or
banking information
• Request a new ID card
If you don’t find what you need online, no worries.
We are just a phone call away.
Can you deposit my reimbursements directly into my bank account?
Yes, it’s a real time-saver. Just contact your group
administrator to set up direct deposit.
Can I submit claims under two policies?
Yes, if you have more than one policy or you and your
partner have separate health plans, you may be able to
use them to maximize your reimbursement. If the claim
is for you, submit it to us. Once it’s been processed,
send a copy of your receipts and the Explanation of
Benefits (EOB) to your other insurer. If the claim is for
your partner, do the same thing in reverse. If the claim
is for your children, submit to the insurer of the partner
whose birthday comes earlier in the calendar year.
Once processed, provide a copy of your receipts and
the EOB to the other insurer.
