Job Description JOB TITLE Box Office Sales Advisor (Maternity Cover) DEPARTMENT Marketing and Communication ACCOUNTABLE TO Box Office Manager JOB GRADE Band 2 CONTRACT Fixed Term, maternity cover HOURS 30-40 hours a week, variable according to shifts JOB SUMMARY The duties of the Box Office Sales Advisor are customer-focused. The post is responsible for all aspects of ticket sales (memberships, bundles, groups and ancillary) plus daytime reception duties. The role demands excellent standards of customer service and a forward-thinking attitude. Full training in relevant software will be provided. KEY OUTPUTS 1. Sell tickets for HFC events and external events telephone and counter shifts, providing excellent customer service on the phone and in person good knowledge of all shows being sold proficiency in all aspects of ticket handling and the ticketing system (training provided) assistance to group bookers occasionally selling tickets for events off-site. 2. Generate additional income actively promote and up-sell tickets the selling of memberships increasing customer awareness on ways to donate money promote and sell Catering and merchandise offers to individuals and groups. 3. site, travelling if necessary wearing correct uniform smartly and according to HFC dress code being able to think forward and plan without prompting keeping the workplace clean and tidy attending training sessions as requested

mentoring new staff members taking ownership of queries and following through on doing what you have said you will do being an Ambassador for HFC both in and out of work.

4. Performing administrative and related tasks accurately and thoroughly taking responsibility for a float and correctly balancing it at end of shift frequently checking displayed marketing materials on shows and changing or re-stocking as needed completing Box Office daily duty and check sheets working within Data Protection guidelines, regularly de-duping customer accounts and conducting

‘housekeeping’ on your computer as per HFC IT policy being proficient in handling complaints.
