Mr and Ms Darvies live in a nice house in Winchmore Hill, a
residential area in North London. Ms Darvies is an Administrator and
Mr Darvies is a Carer, in their free time the couple enjoys reading,
singing, eating out and travelling. Students will enjoy staying in one
of three comfortable rooms, good facilities and the hospitality of the
friendly and helpful hosts. From the house the nearest station is
Southgate which is a short 10 minute bus; from here students willhave access to the Piccadilly Line into Central London.
Important Notes to Students
1. It is important that you contact your host family at least 2-3 days before you arrive to introduce yourself and let them know at whattime you expect to arrive at their home. If you do not, it may be possible that your host family will not be at home to welcome you onyour arrival.
2. If you have booked an Airport Transfer, the driver will be waiting for you one hour after your flight lands. This gives you sufficienttime to clear immigration controls and baggage reclaim. The driver will be at the Information Desk with your name on a board. If youcannot see your driver, please call the emergency line above and we will help you.
