Nineteen children are enjoying learning about nutrition, healthy eating habits and cooking skills with hands-on recipes. One mom whose daughter is a regular participant said: “(She) looks forward to the program and can’t wait until the end of the day to go to it.” As the program is proving so popular, we hope to hold further sessions of After the Bell in the fall. This program was made possible through a generous donation from the Welland Neighbourhood Project.
