3rd grade welcomes you to an exciting
new year no matter the distance!
General Information
Please be sure to purchase school supplies for your student
whether they are at school or at home. The general West Gate school supply list was posted. Teachers may send
home individual class wish lists.
Outside food, including lunches, birthday treats, will not be
permitted this year.
Each individual teacher will send home or post to TEAMS (if
virtual) the information needed to join REMIND.
General Information
Miss. Bowman
My name is Kristin Bowman. I’ve
been teaching at West Gate K-8
since 2006! I’ve taught second and
third grade. I love the Florida Gators
and Boston Red Sox. My happy place is relaxing on the beach with
my daughter and three dogs
(Georgia, Jude, and Jayce). Can’t
wait to meet you! Looking forward to
a great year!
Mrs. Randolph
Hello! My name is Mrs. Randolph and I
have been teaching at West Gate
since 2018! I have taught Pre-K-
Second Grade as well as ESE.I have
been married for 8 years and have two sons; Hunter is 7 and Branson is 4. I
love spending time with my family
outdoors, relaxing on the beach as
well as spending time on our boat! I
am looking forward to a great school year!

Hello my name is Kelly Avilla I have
been teaching for 21 years, I have
taught grades 4,5 and 6. I am originally
from Boston and love the New England
Patriots and Boston Red Sox. I have a daughter in fourth grade. I love to
travel and go to the beach. I am
looking forward to an exciting year!
Mrs. Corrigan
Hey, there! My name is Kelsey Corrigan,
and I'm a 3rd grade math, science and
social studies teacher here at West
Gate. Teaching is my passion and I feel so
lucky to be able to do it - even in these times. When I am not at school, you can
find me playing with my 2 year old Hank,
enjoying the outdoors with my family or
devouring mac and cheese (my favorite
food!) I am so excited to start this new adventure as a distance learning teacher.

Mrs. Allcroft
My name is Megan Allcroft and I will be your
child’s new 3rd Grade ELA teacher! I am
committed to educating students,
colleagues, families and the communities
through strong connections. I recognize the potential in every child. I began my
teaching career at Mariposa Elementary
(1999) as a First Grade teacher and Title 1
Reading Support specialist. After 13 years of
teaching in RI, I moved back to Port Saint Lucie, with my 4 beautiful children and loving
husband. I am honored and excited to take
over this journey as your child’s 3rd grade
teacher and am looking forward to lots of
learning!

Hello. I am Mrs. Manning. I am
a veteran teacher. This is my
thirty-second year. I have
been here at West Gate since
it opened in 2006. I am excited to be teaching third
grade again! I look forward to
teaching your child in a virtual

My name is Mrs. Watkins and I have been
teaching ESE in St. Lucie County for 8 years. I
love to see the growth students make and
cherish the relationships built with each student.

Mrs. Collis and I am excited to meet all
of my new OWLs (Outstanding,
Wonderful Learners)! We are going to

Mrs. Ernst
Hello 3rd graders! My name is Mrs.
Ernst and I will be teaching Reading
and Language Arts this year. I am
thrilled to be back in the classroom
and look forward to meeting my new 3rd grade friends! I have been
teaching for 15 years and this is my
7th year teaching 3rd grade. On my
free time, I love going to the beach,
watching Florida Gator football games, and spending time with my
family. I am excited to get to know
all of you real soon!
Mrs. Ruck
Hello! My name is Mrs. Ruck, and I will be
teaching math, social studies, and
science. I can’t wait to get started! I
have been teaching at West Gate K-8
since 2006 and have taught 3rd and 4th
grade. I am very proud to be part of the
West Gate family. We see with our
hearts! I am a NY Yankee and Dallas
Cowboys fan, and I love to cook. I have
a kitty cat name Little. She is my baby! My favorite color is purple.
