member of the Committee will accompany the riders.

Official Sunday Ride - every 2nd Sunday of each month is an Official Breakfast Ride. Meet at Pine Haven Sasol

Sunday 23 Oct 2016 saw the 4 West

Rand Ulysseans plus Athalie and Her-

man ride out from Pinehaven Sasol on

the N14 where some decided to clean

out their bikes pipes as the weather was

just perfect. Turned at the R500 and

went through Carletonville and over

Monkey hill to meet up with the N12

where we went onto Kraalkop Hotel

giving us a comfortable 85 kms run.

Kurt who ran a wee bit late getting

back from Pongola travelled in his

Ford Cage to meet up with us.

The Ulysses Klerksdorp Chapter met up with us at

Kraalkop Hotel for a joint breakfast feast.

Prior to breakfast there was a short in private

meeting held between West Rand Committee plus

co-opted members and two Natcom members

namely Vernon de la Rey (National Vice Presi-

dent) and Julian Middleton (National Secretary).

Vernon’s roll was more that of a mediator. More

details regarding this Inaugural Meeting & out-

come between Natcom members and West Rand

Chapter Committee will be forthcoming at the next

Chapter Meeting to be scheduled and announced

shortly.

CHARITY RIDE:

On Saturday 22 Allan rode with

a group of Bikers to a birthday

party held for 8 year old twin

boys staying in a

“Duurgaanshuis” at a Vroue

Federasie venue. The twins love

bikes and their dream was for

BIKERS to ride onto the prem-

ises reving and to braai the

wors for wors rolls and to cele-

brate their birthday. The party,

Cakes, wors rolls, Colddrinks,

game packs were supplied by

donors.

lasdale Police Station)
