OF
Saint Clare Feast Thursday, August 11
Please join us in celebrating the Feast Day
of our Patron Saint with Mass at 8 AM followed by breakfast in the Parish Center.
We become what we love and who we love shapes what we become. If we love
things, we become a thing. If we love nothing, we become nothing. Imitation is not a literal mimicking of Christ; rather, it means becoming the image of the beloved, an image disclosed through transformation. This means we are to become vessels
of God’s compassionate love for others. —— St. Clare of Assisi
Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Monday, August 15, 2016
Not a day of holy obligation this year.
Congratulations to the winners of the Clam Cake and Chowder dinners. Susan & Gary Latz won dinner for 4
Linda Urso won dinner for 2 Mr. & Mrs. James Angelo won dinner for 1
