Cremation Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2013

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1. Citation

These regulations are the Cremation Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2013.

2. Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3. Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Cremation Regulations 1954.

4. Appendix “B” amended

In Appendix “B” delete “97.90” and insert:

Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 67 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982, the Department by this notice limits the speed of motorised vessels to ten (10) knots within the following area between the hours of Sunset to Sunrise—

Nornalup Inlet: All the waters of the Nornalup Inlet downstream of the gazetted Walpole Inlet 5 knot speed restriction area, excluding all other gazetted speed restriction and closed waters areas.

Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 66 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982, the Department by this notice revokes section (a)(23) of notice TR402 as published in the Government Gazette on 27 January 1995 and closes all waters to all vessels within the following area—

Coalmine Beach: Those waters of Nornalup Inlet bounded by the shore and a line commencing at 116°44.185’E, 34°59.393’S (on the foreshore of Coalmine Beach approximately 360 metres west of the boat ramp); thence to 116°44.185’E, 34°59.546’S (due south approximately 280 metres); thence to 116°44.255’E, 34°59.546’S (due east approximately 105 metres); thence to 116°44.304’E, 34°59.423’S (approximately 240 metres north-northeasterly on the foreshore near the base of an old timber stairway). All coordinates based on GDA94.

Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 67 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982, the Department by this notice limits the speed of motorised vessels to eight (8) knots within the following area—

Nornalup Inlet: All the waters of the entrance to Nornalup Inlet south and east of a line between a point 116°43.609’E, 35°01.331’S (on the western side of the entrance adjacent Sealers Cove) and 116°44.390’E, 35°00.880’S (approximately 1450 metres northeast on the eastern side of the entrance) and bounded in the south by the limit of the Walpole and Nornalup Inlets Marine Park. All coordinates based on GDA94.

RESTRICTED SPEED AREAS—MOTORISED VESSELS

Department of Transport, Fremantle WA, 9 April 2013.

Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 67 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982, the Department by this notice revokes sections (d)(20)(i) and (d)(20)(ii) of notice MH401 as published in the Government Gazette on 25 October 1991 and herby limits the speed of motorised vessels to five (5) knots within the following area—

Shire of Manjimup— (i) All the waters of Walpole Inlet upstream of a line commencing between 116°43.270’E,

34°59.573’S (on the western side of the entrance to Walpole Inlet approximately 700 metres south of Rest Point) and 116°43.491’E, 34°59.618’S (approximately 350 metres easterly) including all waters of the Walpole River. All coordinates based on GDA94.

(ii) All the waters of Deep River including the navigational channel at its entrance as marked by navigational beacons.
