Enterprise Offers and Assemblies

As part of Westminster Enterprise Week, schools in Westminster have the opportunity to receive a guest visit from inspirational entrepreneurs at a school assembly. The assemblies will raise awareness of self-employment, and the speakers will be able to share their experiences with large groups of young people. These talks will be dedicated to the theme of entrepreneurship.

The table below shows a list of organisations that are eager to provide assemblies as well as the dates they are available.

Simone de Gale Architects

Winners of the ‘Women in Construction Award 2017’, Simone de Gale Architects are offering a talk on architecture and the built environment.

Martyn DawesMartyn Dawes is an entrepreneur who had the simple idea in 1996 to put takeaway coffee in corner shops in London just like he had seen in New York and the rest is history. His business Coffee Nation created a new category that went on to sell over 100 million cups of coffee in the next decade. In 2008 the business was sold for £23 million. Martyn is keen to share his experience of running a successful business.

Olga & Kay

Olga & Kay are two experienced freelance creative entrepreneurs with an impressive portfolio of work. They are offering an interactive talk with a group of students around how to get into and succeed in the creative industries.

Elisa Damaliti (AOG Consultancy)

Elisa Damaliti is the founder of AOG Consultancy, an international, award-winning agency, offering consultancy management, digital marketing and branding support. She is willing to share her 11 years of experience in these areas.

Julie Trunkfield (Intuit)

Julie Trunkfield is a Marketing Manager with QuickBooks, she has over 15 years’ experience working in Customer Service and Marketing environments delivering excellent service and managing and motivating teams. She is passionate about developing others in particular early career employees supporting them to not only learn fast, but how to flourish in their roles whilst also building a strong personal brand.
