Rowan/Westminster Fibers, Inc. Kidsilk Haze

(super kid mohair/silk) in #582 trance (B)

1 skein each ofKidsilk Haze in #597 jelly (C),

#589 majestic (D), #600 dewberry (E), #606

candy girl (F), #630 fondant (G), #578 swish (H)

One pair each sizes 3 and 5 (3.25 and 3.75mm)

needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Size 3 (3.25mm) circular needle 60"/150cm or

two 32"/80cm

GAUGE

26 sts and 28 rows = 4"/10cm over St st. using

larger needles and 1 strand each Kidsilk Night

andKidsilk Haze held tog.

TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

SLEEVES

With smaller needles and one strand each of A and

D, cast on 56 sts. Knit 2 rows A and D, 4 rows A

and B, 4 rows A and C, 2 rows A and H. Change to

larger needles and St st, and work sleeve chart to

row 106, always holding 1 strand A tog with the

color indicated, and inc 1 st each side as shown on

chart106 sts.

Cap shaping

Bind off 6 sts at beg of next 2 rows, then dec 1 st

each side every other row 4 times86 sts. Work 1

row even. Bind off.

BACK

(Note The chart for the back and fronts can be

found on the websites listed below.) With smaller

needles and one strand each of A and D, cast on

156 sts. Knit 2 rows A and D, 4 rows A and B, 4

rows A and C, 2 rows A and H. Change to larger

needles and St st, and work rows 1122

of chart, always holding 1 strand A tog with the

color indicated.

Armhole shaping

Following chart for colorwork pat, shape armholes

as foll: Bind off 6 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1

st each side every row 7 times130 sts. Work even

in chart colorwork pat to row 188.

Shoulder shaping

Bind off 14 sts at beg of next 6 rows. Bind off rem

46 sts for back neck.

LEFT FRONT

With smaller needles and one strand each of A and

D, cast on 78 sts. Knit 2 rows A and D, 4 rows A

and B, 4 rows A and C, 2 rows A and H. Change to

larger needles, St st and working first half of chart,

work rows 1122 of chart, always holding 1 strand

A tog with the color indicated.

Armhole and neck shaping

Following chart for colorwork pat, shape armhole

and neck as foll: Bind off 6 sts at beg of next row.

Dec 1 st from armhole edge every row 7 times, AT

SAME TIME, dec 1 st at neck edge on row 123

and every 3rd row until 42 sts rem. Shape shoulder

as for back.

RIGHT FRONT

Work to correspond to Left Front, reversing all

shaping and working 2nd half of chart.

FINISHING

Sew shoulder seams. Set in sleeves. Sew side and

sleeve seams.

Front and neck edging

With RS facing circular needle and one strand each

of A and H, pick up and knit 100 sts to start of neck

decs, 52 sts to shoulder, 46 sts from back neck, 52

sts to end of neck shaping, 100 sts to bottom

edge350 sts. Knit 1 row A and H, 4 rows A and

C, 4 rows A and B, 1 row A and D. Bind off in

A and D.
