DEAR COLLEAGUESWe are pleased to invite you to participate in theWater and Environment Technology Conference 2018(WET2018), which will be held in Matsuyama, Ehime,Japan on the 14th–15th July 2018. The conferencewill focus on topics related to water environment, andprovide a hybrid-type forum to promote exchange ofinformation, ideas and knowledge among scientists,engineers and students. In parallel with WET2018, theworkshop organized by Japan Young WaterProfessionals (YWP) will be concomitantly held.

Scientific committee encourages participants tosubmit their manuscripts to the Journal of Water andEnvironment Technology (JWET), which is an officialjournal of the Japan Society on Water Environment(JSWE). Manuscript submitted to JWET will besubjected to the normal peer-review process. We lookforward to welcoming you at WET2018.

REGISTRATIONOn-line registration will be available for participantsand speakers on the WET2018 website(http://www.jswe.or.jp/extra/wet2018/).

The registration fee will be collected by cash (inJapanese Yen) on site. Early-bird registration will closeon 21st June, 2018. The fee covers participation to allscientific sessions and the conference proceedings. Theconference banquet will be free of charge for allregistered participants. Students are required to showtheir student ID at the registration desk, otherwise theregular registration fee would be charged.Banquet and farewell lunch are sponsored by SwingCorporation and free of charge for those who registered.
