Campers can expect to make new friends, learn about God, have a lot of fun and be given many opportunities for growth. We have a lot of activities, including biking, swimming, waterfront, crafts and games. We also have a lot of fun during chapel. The worship time includes singing, teaching, puppets, and skits. After our chapel times in the morning, we have a cabin time which is a group discussion and is a chance for campers to ask questions and get answers. Everything is designed to give your child opportunity to grow in his or her relationship with God. If they don’t have that relationship yet, we will educate them and let them decide if they would like to begin that relationship while at camp. grade 10-12. It is our hope that during this week of camp your experience will be filled with opportunities for growth. Our aim is to promote a growing relationship with Christ in you not just for the week you are at camp but for a life time! During chapel we will have worship band, speaker and some sketches. We will also be playing a lot of fun games during the day and late at night! Have opportunity to water ski, wake board and tube as well as, swim, canoe, bike and play volleyball! Activities will be selected from the following: Drawing, Painting Cartooning, Pottery, Ceramics, Egg decorating, Jewellery, Native Crafts, Applying Art to Usable Objects, and Fantasy Cookie/Cupcake Decorating. Cost for the full two-week program is $225 (supplies are included, lunch is not). One Week and Half Day programs are also available. Summer Art Camp is sponsored by Wetaskiwin Allied Art and Craft Centre and will be held in their facility behind the High School. Grant support is from Wetaskiwin County FCSS. WetaskiwinDinosaurs of the Field: Tractors That Built Alberta is a feature exhibit of giant gasoline powered tractors that ruled Alberta from 1906 to 1921, and what led to their ultimate extinction. There will be lots to see and do including public tractor rides, a children’s craft, children’s play area, and demonstrations. The Agrium “seed survivor” trailer will provide everyone with fun hands-on activities that conclude with planting a seed to take home (in an environmentally friendly container!) As part of the summer fun, each Friday during the months of July and August is designated as “Farming Friday” with a special focus on agricultural in Alberta, and how it impacts our everyday
