Exercise: Just Draw It!Grab an image of an artwork/postcard, which you must not show to anyone else.
Sitting opposite each other the Describer must verbally describe the artwork to the
Drawer, who has a pencil/paper to record their understanding of what the Describer is
looking at.
The describer might say things such as; how they feel, what they see, what is the subject
matter, what is the medium, how did the artist organise the elements, interpretation,
what is it about etc.
Once the Describer has finished compare the image to what the Drawer has created. Discuss. Swap roles
using a different artwork.
