“On behalf of the members of the Pittsburgh Board of Education and staff of the School District, I want to congratulate our graduates as they celebrate the successful conclusion of their high school experience. But ‘Commencement’ means ‘beginning’ rather than ‘the end,’ and so we encourage each student to continue to Dream Big and Work Hard so that they have the opportunity to succeed in all aspects of life.”
