The installation challenges rape myths and provides an opportunity for participants to understand that an act of sexual assault has nothing to do with what someone was wearing… or not wearing. The installation will showcase multiple outfits that have been re-created based on the stories of actual survivors. This event will also feature campus clubs and resources, community agencies, games, activities, and a raffle! Open to both GCC students and community members, free of charge. RESTORE does not believe that one’s gender identity or clothing are ever an invitation for sexual harassment or assault. This flyer was developed with funding provided by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), Division of Family Health. Its contents are solely the responsibility of RESTORE and do not necessarily represent the official views of NYSDOH.
