Can you design your own fitness programme that will keep you and your family active? Include a variety of different activities. You could watch Joe Wicks or look at the ‘What’s your name?’ workout challenge attached to the blog for ideas. Remember to include a warm up and a cool down at the start and end of your programme.

Maybe you could make your own fitness video by filming yourself presenting your programme.

Read the example non-chronological report attached to the blog (Sharks non-chronological report).

How many different features of a non-chronological report can you identify?

Write yourself a success criteria for writing a non-chronological report.

Check the list of non-chronological report features on the blog to see if you found the same features as me. Did you find any that I didn’t?

SCIENCE - Water Cycle experiment

To understand The Water Cycle Did you know that the water we swim in has been around since the time of the Dinosaurs?

This week you will write a section of your report about the world’s different oceans.

Research the 5 main oceans and make some notes to include in this section of your report.

You could use some of the information that you found on Monday. You may also want to read the first chapter of the book ‘Discover the Oceans’ by Lauri Berkenkamp on Get Epic.

Using the notes you made yesterday, write the first section of your non-chronological report.

Remember to include some of the features that you identified on Tuesday.

You can choose to lay your report out however you like. You may want the different sections to follow on underneath each other, or you may choose to place sections in different places on the page. Be creative.

Remember to include facts and technical/scientific vocabulary in your writing.

Complete the assigned activities on Mathletics.

Choose 2 activities from the list above.

Complete the ‘Layers of the Ocean’ reading comprehension.

The answers are attached for your to check.

Complete the arithmetic questions that are attached to the blog.

You do not have to time yourself – you can work through them at your own pace.

If you do want to time yourself then allow yourself 30 minutes to complete all the questions.

Use the answers to check it when you’ve finished.
